The Delaunay

On Saturday night, me and my family went to The Delaunay; a restaurant in central London for my cousins birthday. My mum had told me that the restaurant was very high class so we had to scrub up and not look so 'casual', and when we got there she was right. Firstly, there was a doorman and as soon as we stepped in 3 people greeted us, of which one took our coats, where we were then escorted to the bar whilst we waited for our table- it was completely opposite compared to good old Nandos!

I decided to wear a shift dress from New Look. The dress has white daises printed on it which I jazzed up with a diamond necklace from Oasis. I chose to wear my Doc Marten Flora Chelsea boots with the dress as it was raining that night, along with my Warehouse suede coat.

For the meal I started with a chicken and noodle soup, followed by chicken schnitzel, spinach and the creamiest of creamy mash. To finish I shared a Lucian dessert which consisted of a trio of hazelnut, almond and pistachio ice creams- it was delicious!
I also tried my first mussels and it was just as I excepted, soft, veiny and disgusting- never again!

All in all we had a great night and to top it off we had the pleasure of seeing London at night looking its best during the taxi ride home :)
